The Championship Players Tour was formed in 2010 to provide the "working" population of players a place to compete on a level playing field and gain valuable experience on how to deal with the pressures associated with competitive golf.

Our membership fees are very modest, in fact they are the lowest in the Valley at $59 annually. Our event fees are highly competitive and are priced at their lowest possible rate while returning a high value to the players. All player contributions to the respective prize pool are set at $125 for the Open and the optional Double Dip and $45 for the Championship Divisions.

All full field events, except for the Tour Championship, are single day events played on Sunday. The CPT also has a weekday series of events that will operate mid-February through April for professionals only in 2012.

We currently offer five competitive divisions for 2012:

OPEN DIVISION is for those players that are not currently listed in or finished the previous year in the top 30 Gateway Tour money list as they are competition ineligible for this Division. They may not also have held any "status" on the Nationwide, PGA or Champions Tour in the last 10 years.

DOUBLE DIP is for Open Division players that wish to compete for more money. The optional purse is available to Open Division players only and awards Order of Merit Points to assist in qualifying for the Tour Championship. There is not a minimum number of players necessary to form a Division and the purse is paid at the normal 33%. The DOUBLE DIP purse has a 100% payback!

CHAMPIONSHIP 'A' DIVISION is for amateurs with a 3.5 or better Index, Division players age 55 and above may compete in the Championship 'B' Division with Tour management approval.

CHAMPIONSHIP 'B' DIVISION is for amateurs with a 3.6 to 7.5 Index and

CHAMPIONSHIP 'C' DIVISION is for amateurs with a 7.6 to 9.9 Index.

The Tour paid out over $107,000 in purses to all of its players in 2011 excluding side games.
